MISSION

Canes Ohio was founded in 2020 with the sole purpose of bringing on competitive and dedicated players and coaches who desire to train, learn, teach, compete and ultimately live ELITE. The buzz word of the last 5 years or so has been “development.” The reality is that most are simply not capable of actually developing players. They don’t have the time, resources, finances, or space. Which is why we have invested into and opened CBA. Canes Baseball Academy means we have the space to development and a location to call home for years to come. Development is not just another buzzword for us. It’s part our core beliefs and why we do what we do. We want to change the stigma associated with development and select/travel  baseball. Canes Ohio has made a commitment to lay down roots in the Ohio Valley and start to change the status quo.

Canes baseball is already known as THE elite brand of baseball in all of the United States travel ball circuits. For years the Canes have had thousands of college commits and have seen hundreds drafted into major league baseball. 

Up until this point the Canes brand has not had a reach into Ohio. Which has left many talented players settling for subpar select/travel baseball in the area. We want to change that by providing the Ohio Valley with a National brand that brings in some of the top talent and coaches to compete at the highest levels. This will bring on maximum development and exposure for our players. Our ultimate goal is to facilitate, assist, leverage, and guide our players to playing at the next level.

We are here to make a statement and show not only Ohio but the nation what we’re all about. We’re interested in like-minded, borderline obsessed players that are dedicated to their craft that inspire to play college baseball.
